Even as someone who considers themselves pretty sex-positive, I STILL feel this cultural push. It feels like the entire landscape is slanted, and if you don't actively strive against it, you will roll to the point of least resistance, which is Mega Prudishness.

- It is perceived as “weak” (solidarity) and should be weeded out from a “strong” (individualistic) society.
- It reflects poorly on people who don’t want to spend the effort being considerate so they lash out at the people making them look bad in comparison.

This air of perpetual grievance, this epistemic closure and fundamentalist insistence upon binary thought would be moderated by relationships in-person.
