Anyone have an android app, which will shut off WiFi and Cellular data and turn it back on at specific times ? Extra credit if it is in #FDRoid. #Android #Smartphones #FLOSS

Been meditating on digital minimalism and disconnecting from some tech lately. AND realizing that maybe I just want to go offline more regularly.

That sounds great. If you find something, could you share it? I'm also trying to shut things off more often; I'm finding I really enjoy reconnecting with the non-screen world, but I need a nudge now and then.

@spencer playing around with "Automation" on FDroid. Though it looks like toggling cellular data requires root.

Have you tried Tasker? It's a whole tool box so a bit complicated, but it can do things on a schedule, including turning on/off WiFi, Bluetooth, and mobile data. Looks like mobile data takes extra permissions that requires either debug/dev mode or root access depending on your device.

@faboo I think I tried it once a LONG time ago but really struggled with getting it to do, whatever I was after back then. Might need to look at it.

This is a degoogled android rom, so hopefully wouldnt need more than dev permissions. Dont really feel like installing magisk.
