I often get into discussions about conservation with white activists who speak about how great it is that a landspace has been brought into conservation so it won't be touched by people. I go into these areas and see desperately untended, unmanaged space - kinda like a house that has never been swept. It isn't a surprise when we have overruns of non-indigenous plants, wild fires, and other systems collapse. We have been kept from cleaning our home!

Every day, all day long, people ask Musk "Have you seen this?" "Have you seen that?" While the less prominent genius is alone in his apartment digging through academic papers and the press trying to find hints that could inspire the use of his talent.
