Thinking of adding a sort of #microblog element to my personal site (bcavello.com) because I am finding it intimidating to add new posts because I want to keep my posts section with a level of deep premeditation and polish. But I also have ideas that I often sit on FOR YEARS and it’s frustrating to not have written them down or shared them.

@copiesofcopies Please! I’d welcome advice both from a user experience/reader perspective as well as different tools and approaches.
I’m currently using #Publii for CMS on the regular blog side of things, and I’d mostly imagined just doing more of that, but welcome ideas.
Also if you have thoughts on the β€œjust getting yourself to do it” front, that’s also something I’d be delighted to hear from others on!

it’s more of the latter πŸ™‚ it really seems like you’re letting perfect be the enemy of good (which I do a lot of). Thoughts: (1) it will probably not bother anyone else to see the different kinds of posts intermixed: (2) it will probably not bug you much in practice; (3) you may be able to tag/categorize them so the β€œposts” link only takes you to the long form posts; (4) if you don’t like it, you can always pull those posts out after you do the reorg.

Hi! Do you somehow also have my brain? This is more or less exactly a dilemma I face as well.
