In that timeline, I'm definitely an alt-right shitlord. Maybe trying to work in marketing or web design; I dunno what guys like that do for work. I'm bitter and lonely and believe empathy is a weakness and everything can be solved logically (yet can't seem to logic myself into a satisfying life).

It wouldn't have taken much of a push, which always scares me. I dabbled in 4chan in high school, was a Dawkins-esque antitheist, and entered college self-describing as "more of an egalitarian than a feminist". I was also pretty darn socially anxious due to some pernicious beliefs about my own lack of worth. I could have gone down that path pretty easily.
