Part of me wants to use the Twitter connector to natively view my Twitter thread in Friendica, because that would make tweets a lot easier to share. Especially since the alternative, manually linking to tweets, is much less satisfying than seeing the actual tweet content in the feed.
Another part of me, however, is loathe to connect Friendica to Twitter, because I have so many negative, stressful associations with Twitter and I rather like how my Friendica feed can be a haven from that. 😕

I want little more than to tear my house's walls open to the studs, completely rewire it and add Ethernet and coaxial cables, and replace all the plaster walls with drywall.
Alas, projects like that are "expensive".

Good question. A good ethernet cable shoudl carry all that one needs.
We do have the house partially wired when we first moved in. But, to add more would be a challenge and cost a bit. Still can dream...

When the weather was still grey and chilly, I pruned our shrubs. The roses, the blueberries, and the butterfly bushes; with blades in hand, their steel harder than my resolve, I severed limbs and hoped the plants would forgive me.
